Information submitted through forms
Information submitted through an enquiry form may include your name, email address, business details and information about the work you are considering. We use it to assess and respond to the enquiry, decide whether we may be able to work together and manage any resulting professional relationship. This website is primarily for business and professional enquiries. Young entrepreneurs under 18 may contact us. Where an enquiry may lead to paid work, we may ask a parent or guardian to be involved before an engagement is agreed, depending on the circumstances.
Lawful basis
We process enquiry information where necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. Where that basis does not apply, including where you enquire on behalf of an organisation, we rely on our legitimate interests in assessing enquiries, responding to correspondence, maintaining appropriate records and protecting our business, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
Service providers and international transfers
We use D9 Hosting to host this website and provide the hello@eloiseattenborough.com email service. Information may be processed outside the UK depending on the location and configuration of the hosting service. Where a restricted international transfer occurs, appropriate safeguards will be used as required by UK data-protection law. Enquiry information may also be copied to a password-protected spreadsheet stored on an external hard drive accessible only to Eloise Attenborough. We do not currently use a CRM, analytics platform, advertising pixels or embedded third-party services. If this changes, this Privacy Policy will be updated.
Retention and your rights
Enquiries that do not become client engagements are normally kept for up to 24 months and are then deleted or anonymised, unless there is a legal or business reason to keep them longer. If work is agreed, relevant records may be retained for longer to meet contractual, tax, insurance, legal and professional obligations. You may ask for access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction of processing or object to its use where those rights apply. Contact hello@eloiseattenborough.com to make a request. You also have the right to raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
