We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. It has been designed with clear structure, keyboard access, visible focus states, colour contrast, scalable text, reduced-motion support and responsive layouts.
Our commitment
We aim to make eloiseattenborough.com accessible and use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2, Level AA, as our benchmark. The website has not yet undergone an independent accessibility audit, so we do not claim full conformance. We will continue to review and improve accessibility as the website, its content and its features change.
Measures included
Accessibility measures built into the website include semantic headings, labelled form fields, keyboard-operable navigation, visible focus indicators, descriptive alternative text for meaningful images, responsive layouts, scalable text and support for people who prefer reduced motion. Forms use clear labels and browser validation messages.
Known limitations
The website has not yet been independently audited. Some complex diagrams may not yet have complete text equivalents, and decorative motion or visual effects may not work equally well for every user, although reduced-motion preferences are supported. New content or third-party services may also introduce accessibility barriers. We will investigate reported problems and, where reasonably possible, provide the information or service in another accessible format.
